It was late, the cool chill of the season permeating the night air keeping most people in their homes save for what few folks were up having a late meal and drink within the High Town tavern. Aiden, Wolfram, and Rin had been in town all day gathering up some supplies and bartering for food while loading up a cart they had managed to get a hold of. As the hour grew late, they appeared to be preparing to depart out of town, but not before Aiden stepped into the doors of the tavern and walked up to the Town Board within. He smiled and bowed to the patrons still sitting around at their tables before nailing a small note to the board, paying for a small bottle of wine from the barkeep, then heading back out to finish up readying the cart for travel with the others of his group. Anyone looking at the note noticed the stamp of a four-pointed star and the symbol of I'nil upon it along with the following:"A message to all members of White Wolf Company and any who may see this-I pray, if you are reading this, the Goddess finds you in good health. I know we have found ourselves separated, out on our personal quests. It has been our belief that no member is bound so tightly by our company's tenets that they be kept from doing what they feel is right. I too, have been taking care of many a personal quest along with Rin and Wolfram at the survivors settlement from our homeland, and have found ourselves over the past several months unable to keep to New Haven as well. We should, rather soon, return to our post here and resume our lives with our allies here. However, we shall be reforged upon our reunion, no longer a mercenary company, but instead renewed as a new knightly order. I shall relay much of the reason behind this in person, but know that it was upon request, and I was more than willing to accept it. This will, as you may guess, change some of our mission within these lands, though not so much as to change our core tenets and kinship. If being a "Knight of the Order of the White Wolf" does not sit well with you after our reunion, or if being with the Company as it is no longer is something you wish, then I shall release you of your obligation to Argulin with no ill will, as I know the Company has been asked of much over the years. To any who read this and are not of our people or company know this: As a Knight of the Black Rose of Argulin and the Knight Commander of this new Order of the White Wolf, I am given most holy permission by both Crown and the Dawn Mother herself to welcome you into our midst should you seem earnest and of a goodly soul, with all the benefits therein contained. Though I admit, we have not much to offer as the peoples of a ruined nation trying to survive other than a promise of kinship and a oath to uphold what is right and just in these dark and overwhelming times. We seek only to keep New Haven and the good people of the realm safe from threat and harm, and to aid the survivors of Argulin in trying to meek out an existence here in this new land. I will also not ask of you to sever any ties to other groups or guilds, as we ourselves are diverse, as long as those ties do not conflict with our oaths and ideals. If you wish to join us, seek me out and I shall be happy to speak with you. To my current wandering brothers and sisters in arms, I hope to see you soon. Dawn Mother guide us. Dawn Mother protect us.Signed, Paladin Errant of Gran Valkyr Almeria and Dawn Mother I'nil-Knight Captain of the Order of the White Wolf-Knight Errant of the Knights of the Black Rose of Argulin Aiden V. Lyngard"
